The email that sounds like you
AI made phishing cheap and fluent. Staff now get notes that sound like the owner, the bookkeeper, or the general contractor. The grammar is fine. The urgency is the tell.
Pick one rule and post it by the register. Money does not move, passwords do not change, and gift cards do not get bought because of an email or a text. Call the person on a number you already have.
If you use voice notes or short videos with your crew, tell them you will never ask for a wire that way. Deepfakes of owners already show up in shops that thought they were too small to bother with.
The fix is culture, not a filter. Filters help. A crew that calls before they pay helps more.
